Traveling back to Nairobi! It took us over 8 hours to travel back to Nairobi. The roads were full of rocks, deep pot holes, Paul describes it as driving on the bottom of a dry river bed. Along the way we saw everything from zebras, donkeys, goats, sheep, even baboons ! And children running toward us waving their hand giving us greetings. It's 8 pm and we are here at the Desmond Tutu Conference Center where our home will be for the next couple of days. The group we were with are headed back home. Tomorrow morning we meet up with the Rev. Phyllis Byrd. I am very much looking forward to being with her and learning about her work. For now we are settling in and eating dinner.
